Day's Work Done
The "River Mule" is getting quite skinny. At least we have a hotel to shower in. We only had 3 showers during the 45 days on the river. Ugh!
Anthony, the beneficiary of everyone's hard work, including his own (sweat equity).
Up on the Rooftop
Back in New Orleans, Stuart and I are matched with a school group (students, teachers & administrators) from Baltimore to build this home. I wish I could remember their names, but here we are pictured with our rooftop buddies.
Gulf of Mexico!
The signature shot of when we reached the Gulf of Mexico was taken of our new paddling friend, Jenn Sass. I was busy taking video. As you can see, it was a very hazy day. ~ July 30, 2012
Heading Out of Big Easy
On our way to the Gulf of Mexico, but we'll be back to build a home for Habitat for Humanity in the hurricane-stricken area.
New Orleans Riverwalk
I pulled up to the New Orleans Riverwalk, and sang a chorus of "When the Saints Come Marching In" with a group of people.
